The Southampton County Historical Society is hosting Down Home Day at the Southampton Agriculture & Foresrty Museum & Heritage Village in Courtland.

Down Home Day at the Ag Museum
Where: Southampton Heritage Village/Agriculture & Forestry Museum, Courtland, VA 
When: Saturday, April 14, 2012
Time: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Admission: $3 adults, $1 kids over 5

*   See corn ground at the gritsmill

*   Sheep shearing
*   Nice petting zoo
*   Antique cars and tractors
*   Jimmy Ricks' "Shiloh Grass" Bluegrass Band
*   Old crafts
*   Sample fresh fried cornbread 
*   Hot dogs for sale
